OpenCart Advance Login Installation Guide

OpenCart Advance Login plugin enhances registration, sign-in and forget password feature of the website. With the help of this plugin, the user can easily register their account by social accounts like Google, Facebook, and Twitter. This plugin also includes Google invisible reCaptcha feature which protects your site from spam and unauthorized activities. It is compatible with versions of OpenCart 2.3 & OpenCart 3.

Step 1)

Please click here to download our plugin for OpenCart 3 version. After downloading the plugin login to your admin store and go to Extension->Installer page.

Now, first of all, you have to upload the install.ocmod.zip file of the plugin. The installation process will start automatically if the installation process complete you will see a new entry of plugin.

Step 2)

Go to Extensions -> Modifications page, you should see an entry for this OpenCart Advance Login as shown in the image below –

You need to refresh the cache by clicking on the Refresh button at the top-right corner of the page as shown in the image above.

Step 3)

Now you should upload the advance_login.ocmod.zip file of the plugin, the installation process will start automatically if the installation process complete you should see a new entry, as shown in the image below –

Step 4)

Now go to Extension->Extension page and change the extension’s type to Modules. You will see an entry of OpenCart Advance Login as shown in the image below –

You need to click on the install button at the end of OpenCart Advance Login row as shown in the image above. After installing the plugin, click on the edit button which is besides at the install button of the plugin.

Step 6)

Now you will see setting fields which should be filled according to what kind of features you want to include in the Registration form. Please check the image below –

  • You should change the Status of Input field Enabled.
  • Change Social login status to Enabled if wish to enable social login.

You should read our tutorial for getting the Google Invisible reCAPTCHA, Google Client ID And SecretFacebook App ID And Secret, Twitter API Key And Secret.

Note – Twitter API does not allow to validate query string callback URL. So in the case of Twitter login, we need to set SEO URL. To enable the SEO URL and create SEO URL for twitter you have to follow steps as mentioned at the end of the document.

Step 7)

Now you have to install Google, Twitter, Facebook Javascript libraries. For that, you must have SSH access to your server or ask your server support to run the command as mentioned below –
composer require google/apiclient:^2.0
composer require facebook/graph-sdk
composer require abraham/twitteroauth

Above command should be run on the root directory of your site.

Step 8)

Now you should click on save setting button as shown image below.

Step 9)

Go to the home page of the site and at the top page, click on My Account menu button, check the ajax registration form as shown image below-

OpenCart Advance Login for OpenCart 2

Step 1)

Please click here to download our plugin for OpenCart 2 version. After downloading the plugin extract it and open “upload” folder. Upload all folders inside upload folder on your site’s root directory of the server. For uploading, you can use WinScp/FileZilla/Cpanel.

Step 2)

Now login to your admin store and go to Extension->Extension Installer page. You should upload the install.ocmod.xml file of the plugin, the installation process will start automatically if installation process complete you should go Extensions -> Modifications page, you will see an entry for OpenCart Advance Login as shown in the image below-

To see the plugin in action, you need to refresh the cache by clicking on the Refresh button at the top-right corner of the page as shown in the image above –

Step 3)

Now go to your admin and open Extension->Modules. You should see an entry for this OpenCart Advance Login extension as shown in the image below –

To see OpenCart Advance Login plugin in action, you need to click on install button as shown in the image above. After installing the plugin, click on the edit button which is besides at the install button of the plugin.

Step 4)

Now you will see many entities of input fields which should be filled according to what kind of features you want to include in the Registration form please check the image below –

  • You should change the Status of Input field Enable.
  • Change Social login status Enable.

  1. Go to System->Settings. Here you will see of store list click on edit button as shown in the image below –
  2. Now you should see settings navigation menu of stores, click on the Server tab menu. In this settings page, you will see use SEO URL’s checkbox field click on yes and save the settings as shown image below-

Step 5)

Create SEO URL in OpenCart 3

Go to System->Settings. Here you will see of store list click on edit button as shown in the image below –

Now you should see settings navigation menu of stores, click on the Server tab menu. In this settings page, you will see use SEO URL’s checkbox field click on yes and save the settings as shown image below-

Go to Design->Seo URLs. In this page, you will see all the list of SEO URLs now at the top right corner the page you should click on Add button as shown image below-

Here you should see some input fields for creating SEO URLs. Put valid values in those input boxes which is this image suggesting for Query and Keyword input field. Then save settings please see this image below-

Now, Twitter SEO callback URL has created.
